Sunday Snapshot {Thanksgiving}

This year we headed 'down south' to celebrate Thanksgiving with Scott & Stephanie (our d-i-l) and....

her family!!!!

To get to Scott & Stephanie's we need to drive a mere 10 hours!!!

It's a looooong drive, but so worth it!

The husband, Drew, Shea, Avery, and I had a very pleasant....for the most part....drive to Indy!

Katie, Drew's girlfriend, was able to join us for this festive holiday!  She drove eight hours from Penn State just to see us....ummmm, I mean him, well...us, too!  ;)

We had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving with Stephanie's family!

We had so much to be thankful for....

family
friends
health
love....

The 'Littles' certainly had a grand time!

This was Avery's first Thanksgiving.....
Talk about being 'thankful'....
I am so very thankful that she is a part of our lives....can't imagine life without her!

Faith and her {newly engaged} guy couldn't make it. (Sad!)

She and Jon spent Thanksgiving with his family.

Happy Thanksgiving!

(had some fun with Picnik)

  1. That is one large gathering! Glad y'all had a lovely time with extended family, but it's still hard when two faces are missing from the table, isn't it? Next year, right? *grin*

  6. What a great Thanksgiving! Many arms to hug and love! So happy too that Avery is home for Thankgiving!

I didn't know you had family going to Penn State! I am from PA and a major PSU fan! We grew up about 40 minutes from the campus!

    Have a wonderful holiday season!

  7. We never travel for Thanksgiving, but I'm always saying, "Next year, we're going on a cruise for Thanksgiving..." We have a very small family, and both my brother & sister live in the same town I live in.

Chris, you look way too young to have married kids.

  9. Wow, that was some crowd!
We had three in our extended family that celebrated their first Thanksgiving. I'm sure that most of it was lost on them this year, but we moms sure got misty eyed as we considered all we are thankful for!
