To get to Scott & Stephanie's we need to drive a mere 10 hours!!!
It's a looooong drive, but so worth it!
The husband, Drew, Shea, Avery, and I had a very pleasant....for the most part....drive to Indy!
Katie, Drew's girlfriend, was able to join us for this festive holiday! She drove eight hours from Penn State just to see us....ummmm, I mean him, well...us, too! ;)
We had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving with Stephanie's family!

This was Avery's first Thanksgiving.....
Talk about being 'thankful'....
I am so very thankful that she is a part of our lives....can't imagine life without her!
Faith and her {newly engaged} guy couldn't make it. (Sad!)

We never travel for Thanksgiving, but I'm always saying, "Next year, we're going on a cruise for Thanksgiving..." We have a very small family, and both my brother & sister live in the same town I live in.

ReplyDeleteWe had three in our extended family that celebrated their first Thanksgiving. I'm sure that most of it was lost on them this year, but we moms sure got misty eyed as we considered all we are thankful for!
