Yes, I said 'Rugrats'!
Old school, y'all!
My oldest three loved this show...back in the day....so did I!
It was/is the kind of cartoon that appealed to both young & old.
Cutesy babies with subtle adult themes.....hmmmm, a little something for all.
This past weekend while we were visiting my son Scott and our d-i-l, Stephanie, my 'Littles' got hooked...
on Rugrats!
In fact, some of us got 're-hooked' on Rugrats!
Nothing like blankets, jammies, big brother, Katie, and some Rugrats to make a morning grand!

Sunday Snapshot {Thanksgiving}
This year we headed 'down south' to celebrate Thanksgiving with Scott & Stephanie (our d-i-l) and....
her family!!!!
To get to Scott & Stephanie's we need to drive a mere 10 hours!!!
It's a looooong drive, but so worth it!
The husband, Drew, Shea, Avery, and I had a very pleasant....for the most part....drive to Indy!
Katie, Drew's girlfriend, was able to join us for this festive holiday! She drove eight hours from Penn State just to see us....ummmm, I mean him, well...us, too! ;)
We had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving with Stephanie's family!
We had so much to be thankful for....
family
friends
health
love....
The 'Littles' certainly had a grand time!
This was Avery's first Thanksgiving.....
Talk about being 'thankful'....
I am so very thankful that she is a part of our lives....can't imagine life without her!
Faith and her {newly engaged} guy couldn't make it. (Sad!)
She and Jon spent Thanksgiving with his family.
Happy Thanksgiving!
(had some fun with Picnik)

Last Night......Friday Night-Movie Night!!!!
After a long and crazy week, the thought of cuddling on the couch with my little ones and my husband....is just what this weary momma and wife is craving!!!!
Movie....
Check.
Popcorn...
Check.
Daddy, two little girls,
jammies...
Check.
Let the fun begin!!!!
Both girls are pretty much 'into' the movie at this point....
Avery is still going strong...
Shea is close to calling it a night!
Avery watched the movie until the end.
Shea, true to form...
was fast asleep half way through the movie!
They can't wait to do it again!
Me, too!

Happy Veteran's Day!!!
Today at our school, we honored Veteran's with a wonderful tribute!
My girls learn today what "Patriotism' is!
Shea and Avery had an opportunity to say "Thank You" to the many men and women who have served our country with pride and honor!
Thank you {Veterans} for your
sacrifice...
service...
protection....
love...
commitment....
so that all of us can enjoy the freedoms that we have as Americans!

Sunday Snapshot {A very fun Halloween}
We always have fun on Halloween.
But, this year our fun was multiplied with family visitors!
Scott and Stephanie came home for the weekend!! Yay!
And, "Uncle Tommy & Aunt Lori" were able to stop by for a quick visit as well!!
I am telling ya....LOTS OF FUN was had by all!
The two little 'trick or treaters'.....
And some 'not-so-little-trick or treaters'!
One who seems to be rather enthused!
Not sure who or should I say what is more interesting???? The kitty or the {weird} Packer fan?
This was Avery's first Halloween.
How wonderful that she could share it with daddy's brother (Uncle Tommy) and sister-in-law (Aunt Lori)!
The 'journey' begins....
Didn't take Avery long to figure things out....
Saying "Trick or Treat" then getting candy....SCORE!
That's okay...
The best part of the night,
For this family....
is sitting on the porch...
handing out the candy!

This Lady Bug fluttered herself into quite the exhausted state!
