Sunday Snapshot {Liam and Wild Olive Tees}

Hi, my name is Chris.

I am addicted to Wild Olive Tees!

This addiction has been going on for about three years! *I think*

Stefanie hooked my up!

I am forever in her debt!!!

I LOVE me some Wild Olive Tees!

This past Christmas I bought my hubby, my son, Scott, and his {precious} wife, Stephanie a Wild Olive Tee.
(Aren't they cute? I mean the kids, well the tees are quite cute as well.)

We are growing into a Wild Olive Tee family!  Fo' real!

We have been partnering with Wild Olive Tees for months as they help us to bring home our son, Liam.
(We need to get him home....gotta get a smile on his adorable little face! ASAP)

This is how it works:

For every tee purchased, we get $10 towards our adoption fund.

Wonderful!

We have sold 40 tees....so far.

That means, with Wild Olive Tees help, we have raised $400 (so far) to help off set our adoption related expenses.

Ah-mazing!

We are STILL fundraising. Of course.

We can STILL use your help.

If you have never ordered a Wild Olive Tee, check them out here.

If you have ordered a Wild Olive Tee, you can never have enough....in my humble opinion.

They have just added men's tees....
Sportin' the father/son look!

(And they have just recently added some new women's tees as well.)

Tees are only $30.
$10 goes toward our adoption fund.

In a nut shell:
You get a tee for $20 and you{graciously} donate $10 to our adoption fund....HELPING us bring home our little guy!

Go here to order a tee.
And enter BERINGER 524 in the pink "enter coupon" box.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

(What is it about guys and their *ahem* muscles????)

Crazy Christmas {outtakes}

I wanted a picture of all my kids!

Like every good mother craves....
A picture where everyone is smiling, looking at the camera, etc.

I did get one that I pretty much like, except Archer is taking a nap sooooooooo he's not in it, and Katie, my oldest son's *very serious* girlfriend was not in in.  :(

Let the silliness begin!

The 'End"!

Sunday Snapshot {Christmas 2012}

Yep.

I am a little in posting this....

*deep sigh*

As we focussed ourselves toward what Christmas is all about....

Our family was deeply blessed!

First, we had ALL our kids home this year!  woo-hoo!

Drew flew in from LA.

Awwww, the couch and his iPhone....

Scott and Stephanie (and their beloved dog, Penny) joined us from Indianapolis.

Shea could not get enough of them!

Of course we had the thrill and enjoyment of being a part of Archer's first Christmas.

My mom (and her beloved dog, Sophie) added to the festive occasion.

Everyone (of course) had great pleasure in opening their gifts....

Playing with a younger sister's toy....(ahem)

And enjoying some yummy treats.....

And we, well.....
Like I said above:

We are blessed!

Immensely!

Sunday Snapshot {Shea's 8th Birthday}

Say what?

Really?

Why do my kids keep growing up on me?

My sweet little Shea-Belle doesn't ask for much.

However, I knew for sure one thing that she did want....

Her very own umbrella.....this one!

What little girl doesn't want a big ole pink-flowered umbrella?

Oh how she loves this umbrella!

(Thank you Stefanie....I think our girls have a lot in common.)

She also wanted these.

I was flabbergasted.

I guess she still has a little "Texas" still in her!

But, what is it with turning 8?

Cowboy boots and umbrellas?

Go figure???

(apparently, pink cowboy boots = itchy feet)

Happy 8th Birthday, my darling Shea!

We ALL LOVE you SO much!!!!

But really?
How do you go from this?

(turning three - her first birthday at home with us)

To this?
(Our beautiful and loving 8 year old daughter)

Sunday Snapshot {a few of my favorite *Christmas* things}

Love me some Christmas.

Definitely the best event of the year!

For so many reasons....

This year, I actually felt like I had time to decorate the house.

It was very pleasant and non-stressful.

Each decoration has a memory.....a story.

Some of our decorations have been around FOREVER!

Some are new.

Some are simple.

Some are 'fancy'.

All are loved.

Let me share a few of my favorites.

Got these elves the year we adopted Shea.....I need to find at least two more.

The last one (for now) on the end is Archie's.

Shea has a fascination with Nutcrackers.

THIS is WHY we celebrate Christmas!

And these two little nuts.....
They just make Christmas fun!
