A Baby Shower....Dr. Seuss Style

Can hardly believe that my baby is having a baby.

Seriously, I am over the moon thrilled.

Can hardly wait to welcome Baby Archer into this world.

So in preparation....

And extreme anticipation.....

We had a baby shower.

Dr Seuss style.

Man oh man,  this was so much fun and so stinkin' cute!

(Yes, the baby's room is done is Dr Seuss as is completely adorable....can hardly wait to post the pictures.....but I digress.)

Look at the cake, y'all.

Faith's mother-in-law made sure this cake was just perfect.  :)

And it was.

Can you say Red Velvet yumminess???

And look....

At the Dr. Seuss quote.

Oh, 'we' can't forget about the blue punch in blue baby bottles that Faith wanted ever so badly.

(Must have been some kind of a craving.....)

The 'jury' was split.

Only five and a half more weeks......

But hey, who's counting???

  1. So sweet!! And Faith looks gorgeous! I am super excited for all of you!

  2. What a great baby shower- how creative! Faith looks fabulous and the little ones look adorable; I take it Shea didn't like the punch while Avery is grinning from ear-to-ear!

  3. What a creative baby shower- Faith is so far along! Love the blue punch idea and the little ones' faces; Avery seems to love it and Shea seems about ready to dump it out!

One of my top students is named Archer- she picked a good name! :)

  4. Love it!! So happy for your family and can't wait for the post announcing baby Archer's arrival!! Gotta go whip up some blue punch for the kids before school..... :)

  5. oh my how precious! What a precious day when Archer arrives!! You will be on cloud nine!!!

  6. How cute is that?? Kendi is going through a love of Dr. Seuss faze, & each time one of the kids gets into it, I remember just how cool all things Dr. Seuss are! Hope you can show the baby room pics it's sweet!

  7. What a fun shower! I can't wait to see pictures of the nursery!!!
And I'm sure you're not counting...but that's less than 40 days! So exciting!

  8. What a fun idea.... Would never ever have thought of that as a theme. Soooo cute.

Reminds me of waiting for Shaggy's arrival. I collected Dr. Suess books the whole pregnancy. And next week he's graduating.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! I'm crying again. I.just.can't.stop. So mushy I've gotten this last two weeks!
