{Kindergarten} Graduation

Someone was very excited to be 'graduating' from Kindergarten this past week.

Avery had a great year.

Great teachers.

Great friends.

Child number five.

Graduating from Kindergarten.

*deep sigh*

Does this ever get easier?

Not really.

Nope, not at all.

Time still flies by like crazy.

And this ole mom still continues to shed tears.....

Tears of joy.

Tears of sadness.

Tears of love.

Presenting Avery's {kindergarten} graduation class of 2012:

I so love this picture.

It totally cracks me up.

Can these kids be any cuter?

Sunday Snapshot {recital blues}

Last Saturday was Shea & Avery's first dance recital.

I thought it would be 'fun' to take some pictures of the girls after the recital.

Hmmmmm, guess it was that much 'fun'.

After so much excitement....

Looks like 'let down' is pretty intense.

I am such an amateur.
Like totally!

My camera is just a little Cannon Power Shot.
(a girl's gotta start somewhere...)

Photography deets:
ISO 160, 1/100s, f/3.4

My Little Pony Tail Girls

Now that  the weather up here in the North is getting *somewhat* warmer,  Shea and Avery are wanting to wear ponytails......more often.

They NEED to have their hair off of off their necks.

Being sweaty is just so incredibly annoying!

The {Dance} Recital

My two little watermelons, ummm, I mean girlies were in their first dance recital this past weekend.

They were pumped!
They were ready to tap, tap, tap away.

Of course, "we" had to stop and smell the flowers.  :)
Why not?

A little back stage waiting.....well actually, a lot of back stage waiting.

Certainly worth it.

Then.
The big moment arrived.
Shea and Avery danced their little watermelon dance.
Cute, cute, cute.
Then.
They danced in the finale.
A-mazing!

Couldn't take any pictures....during the performance.

However.
The show was wonderful.
Really wonderful.
They were wonderful.
(Did I mention how cute they were?)

They had a ton of fun.
They loved the dancing.
They appreciated the applause.

The flowers they received after the show delighted them!
They felt like stars.

Too bad they have to wait a whole year to do it again.
